Early Winter 2012 Class Schedule
Classes run for 7 weeks and you can jump in at any time! Cost for the 7 week session is $170 per child. Drop in students are welcome at $25 per class. We must receive payment in full to reserve your spot for these sessions. $35 cancellation fee if Arts Aloft is notified two weeks prior to the the first class.

Preschool Art Fun (ages 4-Pre-K) sorry, this class is full.
Mondays 1:15-2:15
Children will be engaged in creative exploration while building cognitive and physical skills.
Our belief is that young children need exposure to the arts in order develop their emerging sense of self and valuable to their development. Exposure to clay, plaster, oaint, oil pastels and more.
Drawing, Painting and Mixed Media (ages 9-12) sorry, this class if full.

Mondays 4:00-5:15
This class is for older children interested in refining drawing and painting techniques. More emphasis on still life, shading, and perspective using, charcoal, pencil, colored pencil and acrylic. Students are encouraged to bring a picture or object they are interested in rendering so they feel more vested in the finished product.
Early Dismissal Tuesday! (ages 6-9) sorry, this class is full.
Tuesdays 2:30-3:30
For kids with elementary early Tuesday dismissals. This year we work on refining already learned art techniques focusing on watercolor, pencil drawing and painting. More work on perspective will be incorporated into the lesson plan.
Mixed Media(ages 7-9) sorry, this class is full.
Wednesdays 3:30-4:30
Projects include plaster, clay, mosaics and other mixed media. If your child is a kinesthetic learner and likes to explore with their hands rather than be limited to a piece of paper or a canvas, this is the class for them. VERY MESSY!

Art For Tots With Teacher Nadine (ages 2.5-3.5) children must be accompanied by a caregiver or parent.
Fridays 10:00-11:00
Come join Teacher Nadine in this art for tots workshop where your children can explore and create in a safe, beautiful studio. This s a great class where young children PLAY with art, while parents/caregivers learn about fun art techniques and materials for toddlers. We will create fairy crowns, large floppy hats and insect wings.
